The mastermind and man behind the bar, Alex Pun, will cultivate an elevated cocktail experience through his innovative use of fruit spirits.
Modern drinking culture is full of curiosity. Even diehard whiskey fans are eager to explore other brown spirits. Bartenders, too, are constantly seeking new spirits with which to tweak classic cocktails. Aromatic fruit spirits, with their balance of fruit and wood, make an ideal and unique agent for experimentation.
Over the past 15 years, Alex has developed his own creative mixology style. Beginning as a barback in 2005, Alex soon moved up the ladder to become a bar manager in 2010. He has always had a passion for mixology, and in 2019, when he joined The Woods as COO, he finally had the chance to truly put that passion to work as an all-around creative bartender. Having witnessed the bartending and cocktail scene’s rapid growth in Hong Kong, the ORCHARD team is now making a bold move in the bar industry.
